President's Message

Our university educates self-reliant women with a zest for life who are able to use their unique talents both at home and in society. Today’s world needs women who demonstrate leadership skills and are active in all academic and professional fields. Students studying at Tokyo Kasei University acquire the ability to confidently express their opinions, organize groups of people, and take action within their given environment. Through school life, our students gain the qualities needed to achieve their goals.
Tokyo Kasei University has six faculties and thirteen departments along with a junior college with two departments. The Itabashi campus houses the Faculty of Home Economics, the Faculty of Nutrition, the Faculty of Child Education and Care, and the Faculty of Humanities as well as the Junior college and Graduate school. The Sayama campus is home to the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Child Development.
Surrounded by lush greenery, both campuses offer not only child care support but also educational and research facilities that are open to the community so that students can pursue their education and research as well as gain extensive practical skills. This appealing environment helps students flourish and engage in self-motivated studies.
Along with the teaching staff, the Student Support Center assists students, and this relationship continues after graduation. Many Tokyo Kasei graduates become leaders in their fields.
Have a dream and choose a university, faculty, and department that will help you realize that dream. Dreams always come true.
