Messages from intensive teachers

Tokyo Kasei University’s Intensive English Program helps first- and second-year English Communication students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Our teachers come from the UK, Canada, Australia, and the United States and have a high level of experience and expertise in language teaching.

  • Classes in the Intensive English Program are small, with no more than twenty students per class. This allows teachers to focus on the needs of individual learners and encourage communication between students, teachers, and classmates. Each class is split into two 45-minute sections, with a different teacher taking charge of each section, helping to keep lessons fresh and interesting.
  • The Intensive English Program has a unified curriculum. This means students can improve their English while engaging in interesting discussions and completing real-life tasks, such as designing posters and planning trips abroad. Students work in groups to complete projects and increase their English level together. By working together, students learn both language and communication skills that they can use in real-world situations.
  • The intensive English program helps our students to become effective and confident communicators. We aim to create an environment where students can improve their English through interesting and lively discussions with their teachers and classmates. Our friendly and supportive teaching staff are always willing to help, both inside and outside the classroom.
